RootedIQ exists because the best treatments in the world are happening outside traditional systems — and patients deserve to own that knowledge.
Your Health, Organized. Your Patterns, Revealed. Your Power, Restored.
Transform fragmented health data into collective intelligence that improves every single person's quality of life and health.
Traditional healthcare relies on clinical trials — gold-standard studies that cost millions, take years, and require strict protocols. These trials are invaluable. But they capture only a fraction of what's possible.
Meanwhile, outside the trial system, something remarkable is happening: Patients are exploring metabolic therapies, targeted nutritional interventions, advanced diagnostic testing, and integrative approaches. Many work with practitioners who specialize in root-cause analysis rather than symptom management. They order labs that insurance won't cover. They implement protocols that weren't studied in randomized controlled trials. And many of them get dramatically better.
But this knowledge stays private. A patient discovers a protocol that resolved their symptoms. A practitioner develops a refined approach that works for 80% of their patients with a particular condition. None of this contributes to collective understanding. It's lost the moment the appointment ends.
Meanwhile, patients are dismissed. "Your labs are normal." "It's all in your head." They turn to Google and Reddit for answers — sources that are helpful but unstructured and often contradictory. And practitioners lack tools to synthesize complexity, spending 45 minutes per patient organizing fragmented data before they can even think clinically.
This is what RootedIQ was built to fix.
You own your health data completely. Download it. Export it. Share it with providers you choose. Delete it anytime. We will never lock you in. We will never sell your data. Period.
We conduct research in a strictly anonymized fashion to identify what interventions are associated with better outcomes — but never connect that data back to individuals. Your privacy is absolute.
We're not here to diagnose. We're here to help you understand your patterns, work effectively with the providers you choose, and contribute to collective intelligence that helps others.

Dr. Ahmed Elsakka, MD is a metabolic therapies specialist, neurosurgeon, and clinical researcher who has spent two decades studying what actually works when you think metabolically about health.
Dr. Elsakka earned his medical degree from Alexandria University and completed residency in neurosurgery. Throughout his career, he became increasingly convinced that the most transformative health outcomes weren't happening in traditional hospital settings — they were happening in clinics where practitioners took time to understand the metabolic root causes of disease.
He pursued advanced training in neurometabolism at Johns Hopkins, clinical nutrition and metabolism in Cairo, clinical biochemistry and epigenetics at Harvard, and trained alongside leading researchers in metabolic therapies — including Professor Thomas Seyfried at Boston College, whose work on ketogenic therapy for cancer has fundamentally changed how we think about metabolic disease management.
Dr. Elsakka specializes in metabolic management of complex conditions — cancer, epilepsy, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic dysfunction. His peer-reviewed research appears in Frontiers in Oncology, Neurochemical Research, and Frontiers in Nutrition. He received the Best Researcher prize at the 2022 Metabolic Health Summit and has been recognized by the International Society of Pediatric Oncology for contributions to cancer metabolism.
Most importantly: He is a practitioner who understands what patients and providers actually need. RootedIQ isn't built by data scientists guessing what healthcare should look like. It's built by a clinician-researcher who has spent two decades in the actual work of understanding complex health cases.
RootedIQ is led by a team of technologists, researchers, and healthcare innovators united by one conviction: the system needs to change, and it can only change when patients have ownership of their data and when real-world evidence drives decision-making.
We combine clinical expertise, software engineering, data science, and healthcare domain knowledge to build tools that actually serve patients and providers — not insurance companies or pharmaceutical interests.
We're not building RootedIQ to get rich. We're building it because we believe better healthcare is possible when you organize information differently, respect patient autonomy, and learn from what's actually working.
Not to pharmaceutical companies. Not to insurance companies. Not to anyone. Your health information is sacred trust.
Every research project, every analysis, every partnership requires explicit consent. You always know how your information is being used.
Your data belongs to you. Download, export, or delete it anytime. No penalty for leaving. No data hostage situations.
We don't diagnose. We don't prescribe. We don't replace clinical judgment. We augment it.
HIPAA compliant. Enterprise-grade security. Regular audits. Encrypted in transit and at rest.
Our model is built around patient ownership and consented research — not selling access to your life.
We're not trying to replace traditional medicine or clinical trials. We're trying to create something that has been missing: an infrastructure that captures real-world evidence, respects patient autonomy, and uses what's actually working to improve care for everyone. Imagine a world where —
They bring it across providers. They contribute to research — anonymously and always with consent. They see their patterns clearly. They're partners in care, not passive recipients.
They synthesize complex patient data in minutes instead of hours. They identify patterns they might miss. They deliver more personalized, evidence-informed care.
What works outside clinical trials is studied systematically. The best approaches scale because they're proven — not because they're expensive or trendy.
Because one person's health journey contributes to collective understanding. Because the system learns from reality instead of ignoring it.
It won't happen overnight. But it starts with one principle: Patients come first. Always.
The status quo is unsustainable. Patients are suffering under a system that dismisses their experiences. Practitioners are burned out, constrained by time and tools that don't match the complexity of modern medicine. And the gap between what's possible and what's being studied continues to grow.
Meanwhile, the evidence for better approaches is accumulating. Metabolic therapies are showing promise for conditions where conventional approaches fall short. Functional medicine is identifying root causes that symptomatic treatment misses. Integrative practitioners are developing refined approaches that work. And patients are getting better.
But none of this is being systematized. None of this is being studied rigorously. RootedIQ exists to change that — not to replace conventional medicine, but to create the infrastructure for better medicine, informed by what's actually working, led by informed patients, and accountable to outcomes.
The time for this isn't tomorrow. It's now.
If you believe healthcare can be better. If you're tired of being dismissed. If you're a practitioner who wants tools that match your vision for patient care. If you believe real-world evidence matters.
